Lancashire local Isaac Rayton, 18, happened upon the footballer and his family during a stroll by the seaside. Rayton recounted how Foden hired a luxury speedboat after spotting fish with his son, using it as a makeshift fishing platform rather than sailing out. Despite not venturing far, Foden’s fishing exploits attracted quite a crowd, with Rayton capturing the moment on film.
Rest and Ready for the Euros
Given a brief respite by national team manager Gareth Southgate, Foden is slated to be a key player in England’s Euro 24 campaign, which will commence in Berlin. After netting 24 goals for Manchester City this season, expectations are high for Foden to bring his golden touch to the international stage.
