AS claims he has “declined to renew” due to making only 12 starts in La Liga this term.
And now the Gunners and Hammers are leading the chase for his services.
The Premier League duo are also joined by the Toffees, who are also weighing up whether to fork out the £27million release fee that is inserted into Nunez’s current deal.
However, it looks far from certain that the centre-back will be arriving in England.

Serie A giants AC Milan are also after the Spaniard.
And French outfit Monaco are plotting a swoop once the transfer window re-opens.
Today’s report also states Bilbao are yet to receive any firm offers for the player.
The centre-back has come through the youth ranks at the club and made his debut in August 2017.
Nunez’s good form led to international recognition last year when he received his first senior cap.

Despite struggling for match action this term, Yeray Alvarez’s injury against Real Madrid will offer Nunez an opportunity to start between now and the end of the season.
But it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to convince him to pen a new contract as he enters the final 24 months of his current arrangement.
