PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG has admitted there is NO new Arsenal offer on the table to effectively tell rival clubs: Come and get me.
The Gunners striker, strongly linked with a £20million transfer to either Barcelona, Chelsea or Real Madrid, has sent a clear message to his suitors.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted there is no new Arsenal offer on the table as he gears up to leave the North London club
Gabon striker Aubameyang, out of contract next June, was interviewed by French broadcaster Telefoot.
He said: “Recently I haven’t received an offer but of course there have been discussions with the club.
“It’s them who have the keys and for them to do their work. Afterwards we will see what happens.
“It is a turning point in my career. I have been very frank with everyone. It will be of course a very difficult decision to make.
“It is possibly the most important decision of my career. But so far nothing has been decided.”
Aubameyang, who turns 31 on Thursday June 18, is on a £180,000-a-week contract.
He joined the North Londoners from Borussia Dortmund for £60m in 2018, one of boss Arsene Wenger’s last major deals before he left.
But the striker has become disillusioned with the lack of success at Arsenal.
He wants to move to club where he has more chance of winning trophies.
Arsenal chiefs had indicated they were hoping to sell players like Ainsley Maitland-Niles to fund a major offer to Aubameyang.
They were determined he would not head out on a free transfer the way that Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez did.
However, now it looks like he could either play out his remaining year – or leave this summer for a third of his full value.
Aubameyang has scored 61 goals in 97 appearances for the Gunners.
