A LEAKED WhatsApp message has provided a unique insight into the passion and character of Bruno Fernandes.
The Manchester United ace proves he’s a vocal dressing room figure in the messages, which emerged earlier this year after being sent to team-mates while back at Sporting Lisbon.
Fernandes railed against bad attitudes – and complained of colleagues who ‘don’t want to be here’.
The messages, reported by Record, read: “Bro, I don’t say anything! I honestly, if you want me to tell you, I’d rather not comment on anything.
“I think very badly of some of the attitudes of some players. Actually not a certain attitude, it’s an attitude that does not exist.
“There are players who have no attitude here, bro. They don’t want to be here, they don’t want to play.
“They don’t want to be here then f*** off, let them say they don’t want to play.
“They spend a year here getting money, and then they f*** off, bro. S*** attitude bro, for f**** sake.”
Fernandes has already earned a reputation at Old Trafford for speaking his mind, seen by many as providing the shot in the arm needed to revamp United’s ailing season.
Since arriving in January, the Portuguese international, 26, has been lethal in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s new 4-2-3-1 formation, designed to build around him in the No10 slot.
And the media pressure that comes with playing for United is something he has experience dealing with, as the leaked messages showed him slamming the local press in Lisbon.
He reportedly wrote: “They are focused on talking badly about players and giving news that only causes confusion and s***.
“Just yesterday ‘invasion of supporters’. What invasion? They went there to complain, it’s their right! They went there to sing and send some words.
“What do we want? We don’t beat anyone and we want what? Applause in all games? That’s all I needed, bro! Come and cheer us always!
“We lost at home against Famalicao and we want to be applauded… Applauded?”
Earlier this season, Fernandes was said to have rowed with Man Utd team-mates at half-time of the 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Tottenham.
The Portuguese star was hauled off at the break.
