
Danny Mills is adamant that Thiago Silva would be a “fantastic addition” to Chelsea this summer as the Brazilian nears a move to Stamford Bridge.
The former Leeds and Manchester City full-back, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, insisted that “you cannot always buy for the future” and suggested that the 35-year-old was a player who the younger players could learn a lot from.

The Brazil international’s final game for PSG ended in defeat as Bayern Munich secured their sixth Champions League trophy with a 1-0 victory in Lisbon last night.
Mills cited the impact of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United in the 2016/17 season as reason why Silva will be a success in London.
“People always say that you have to buy for the future but sometimes you need to buy for now,” he told Football Insider. “That is the most important thing.
