Chelsea are interested in Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard as a potential transfer target.
Pavard, who has won three Bundesliga titles in his career, is a highly rated defender.
The 26-year-old right-back is a regular starter for German club Bayern Munich, scoring four goals in 21 games in all competitions so far this season. It’s worth mentioning that he can also cover comfortably as a center.
He has now joined the France squad for the World Cup in Qatar, and four years ago he was a key player when his country won the previous World Cup tournament.

According to Sport, there are a number of big European clubs who are interested in the idea of signing Pavard.
???? WORLD NEWS
The full-back is understood to be leaving Bayern Munich in 2023 after a falling out with manager Julian Nagelsmann.
The report explains that Barcelona are possible suitors to buy Pavard, reactivating their previous interest in him.
In addition, AC Milan, Chelsea and Real Madrid have explored the possibility of his signature.
Sport suggest Bayern Munich will hope to recoup the full €35m (£31m) they paid for Pavard in 2019, with his current deal not set to expire for another 18 months.

There is no doubt that Chelsea need to sign cover for Reece James, who unfortunately will not be going to the World Cup with England.
On paper, Pavard looks like he would be a great addition to the Stamford Bridge squad.
His right-back quality means he could provide competition for James, but he also has the versatility to slot in as a central defender.
James’ recent injury has left a huge hole in the starting line-up on the right flank, so it is important for the club to strengthen this area of the squad quickly.
