Hudson-Odoi set for Leverkusen loan move
Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a season-long loan deal with Chelsea for forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi is expected to fly to Germany on Monday for a medical.
The move was in danger of collapse 24 hours ago as Leverkusen wanted an option inserted in the deal, but Chelsea only wanted a straight loan.
Talks went into the night with Hudson-Odoi’s representative – brother Bradley – able to convince Leverkusen to take the deal on the terms Chelsea wanted.
Chelsea close to agreement over £70m plus add-ons Fofana deal
Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal with Leicester for defender Wesley Fofana for a fee believed to be £70m plus add-ons.
The bid is Chelsea’s fourth for the French centre-back, having seen an offer of around £60m up-front rejected by the Foxes earlier this week.
