HIGH Street shops were certainly busier at Christmas time in 1999 as not many of us had the option of doing our shopping online.
Hampshire residents took to shopping districts to try and wrap presents for loved ones as they battled endless waves of frantic shoppers.
These images show shoppers eagerly raiding the shelves, as well as store staff preparing for the madness.
