Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning Real Madrid stats including 4 Ballons D’or and 451 goals after signing 11 years ago today

CRISTIANO RONALDO was unveiled as a Real Madrid player on this day in 2009.

The Spanish giants forked out £80million to sign him from Manchester United – and he proved to be worth every penny.

The Bernabeu was packed with fans for Cristiano Ronaldo’s official unveiling

Ronaldo spent nine years at the Bernabeu before he made the move to Juventus in 2018.

He left Madrid as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer after scoring 451 goals in 438 games.

The Portuguese superstar also boasts a remarkable trophy haul as a Real Madrid player.

He guided them to four Champions League titles, two LaLiga titles and UEFA Super Cups.

Ronaldo also won two Spanish Super Cups, three Club World Cups and two Copa del Rey titles.

And his heroics with Los Blancos also earned him a long-list of individual awards.

Most notably, he won four Ballon d’Or titles in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.

Adding to the one he won with Manchester United in 2018, Ronaldo took his tally up to five.

Only Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi has more Ballon d’Or titles to his name than him.

Ronaldo also added three Golden Shoe awards, two The Best awards and was named UEFA Best Player in Europe three times.

Madrid have failed to fill the void left by the 35-year-old at the Bernabeu since his departure.

As well as being the clubs all-time leading goalscorer, he made his name as the leading marksman in European Cup history.

He added 105 Champions League goals to his tally during his time with Los Blancos.

With a total of 128 in the competition – he is 14 goals clear of rival Messi.

Just to make sure he left a legacy in Spain, he is Madrid’s highest goalscorer in LaLiga history with 312 goals.

After conquering the Premier League and LaLiga, the 35-year-old is now plying his trade in Italy.

Cristiano Ronaldo averaged more than one goal per game for the Spanish side

And he’s showing no signs of slowing down after bagging 27 goals and five assists this campaign.

Juventus won the Serie A title last season and they are seven points clear at the top this season.

Let’s hope he’s got enough room in his trophy cabinet for a few more.
