In accordance with 90 minutes, Barcelona have recently made an inquiry about Silva. However, the medium claims that the City Council quickly dismissed it.
It is not the first time that the desire of the League team to sign the 28-year-old player has been discussed.
Last August, Athletic reported that City had put a €100m (£88m) price tag on the player ahead of interest from Barcelona.
Silva’s contract doesn’t expire until 2025, so don’t expect his valuation to drop too much this summer.

Should Man City sell Bernardo Silva?
No. It is one of their most important assets and has been for a long time. “Bernardo Silva is an exceptional player,” Pep Guardiola told The Times.
Since arriving at City from AS Monaco, the Portugal international has reportedly scored more than 100 goals for his side. Transfer market. No manager would want to miss this.
From Silva’s perspective, however, he may have a new challenge. Barring the Champions League, they have won every competition the Citizens have competed in.

If Guardiola can lead his men to European glory, you could certainly see the former Monaco man telling his employers it’s time for something new.
You would have to question, however, whether Barcelona can afford Silva at this point. But if they can, a move to the Spotify Camp Nou may very well appeal to him. They are still obviously one of the biggest clubs in the world.
City and Guardiola will of course be hoping Silva stays. Again, she is such a talented person. However, perhaps now is the time for the midfielder to try something different.
