Isco, the once-forgotten Real Madrid legend and five-time Champions League winner, is experiencing an extraordinary career revival. After a failed transfer to Union Berlin and speculation linking him to Arsenal and Tottenham, Isco made a surprise switch to Sevilla’s rivals, Real Betis. There, he has rediscovered his form, contributing eight goals and five assists in 28 appearances, and racking up an astonishing 19 man of the match awards, including one for his recent scoring performance in a 3-2 win over Almeria.
Isco’s Future Secured
Isco’s contract with Betis, initially set to expire in June 2025, has been extended to 2026 following his impressive run of appearances. Despite this commitment, his contract reportedly contains a release clause valued at a mere £8.6m, a potential bargain for any club looking to attract a player of his caliber.
