Rice completed his move to the Gunners from West Ham in a move worth more than £100million earlier this month.
The midfielder has since played in his first two games for the club, a 5-0 win over the MLS All-Stars and a 2-0 loss to Manchester United.
Speaking to The Athletic, Tierney revealed: “Declan said the other day that he feels it’s been so long.
“It’s such a close group, great teammates, great staff, so I think everyone likes it [the new signings].’

On speculation about his future, Tierney added: “It’s not really up to me (my future). I’m happy, I work hard every day and I’ve got minutes. I’m just trying to do as well as I can.
“You can’t play every game, every season, every year. I don’t expect it and I still made a lot of appearances last year. I was ready for every game and worked 100%.
“I think everyone would agree with that, that I never give less than whether I’m playing or not.”
Tirerney revealed that Rice has quickly formed a good relationship with his teammates
