Michael Brown claims that Marcelo Bielsa is “enjoying” his time as manager at Leeds United manager amid talks over a new deal at Elland Road.
The former Leeds midfielder, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, believes the 65-year-old is working “very, very hard” on his plans for next season despite not having a contract in place.
Football Insider revealed last week that Bielsa is in advanced talks with Leeds to sign a new contract and that he could pen to paper this week after a breakthrough in discussions.
Brown believes that the club are just finalising all the details of the club’s plans for next season and that the manager wants to see out at least another year in charge of the Whites.
Brown told Football Insider: “I think they’ll just be looking to get all the plans in place, Marcelo Bielsa is working very, very hard for the new season.
“They’ll be looking at recruitment, they’ll be looking at training methods, they’ll be looking at details to continue improving on what they’ve already done which is a wonderful job.
