Leeds United target Louie Sibley has “the potential to go to the very top”, according to Darren Bent.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Spurs and England striker delivered said he watched the midfielder a lot last year.
Football Insider revealed earlier this week that Derby County have slapped a £10million minimum price tag on the 19-year-old.
Leeds director Victor Orta confirmed to the Yorkshire Post that the club were interested in Sibley after he enjoyed a breakout campaign for the Rams last season.
The midfielder featured in 11 Championship games for Philip Cocu’s side and scored a hat-trick for the club on just his second start in their 3-2 away win over Millwall in June.
And Bent was left very impressed by the youngster’s performances.
