ADAM LALLANA is rumoured to be at the heart of a transfer tug-of-war between Brighton, Burnley, Everton, and top four battlers Leicester.
The Liverpool star is set to leave the champions this week, after six years at the club.
Adam Lallana, 32, has attracted interest from Brighton, Burnley, Everton and Leicester. The Anfield star has faced stiff competition for a starting place at Liverpool this term
Lallana, 32, has found himself sidelined at Anfield this season as Jurgen Klopp’s side surged clear of title rivals Man City.
He signed a short extension last month keeping him at club until the end of the delayed season, and is set to receive his winners’ medal on Wednesday after the clash with Chelsea.
But the long-serving midfielder, described as “a legend” by boss Klopp, is already fielding multiple offers from elsewhere.
Lallana, who joined from Southampton in 2014, has made 128 Premier League appearances for Klopp’s side netting 30 times in the division during his Anfield career.
Highlights include a stunning treble trophy win in 2019 with Liverpool claiming the World Club Cup, a Super Cup win and a Champion’s League title.
But while Lallana has enjoyed stunning trophy-winning successes at the club, he’s faced a battle to retain his spot.
And the midfielder has fallen down Klopp’s pecking order this season with 12 of his 15 Premier League appearances coming from the bench.
Earlier this month Klopp revealed he had no intention of jeopardising the outgoing Liverpool’s players plans to move to another club.
Lallana, who joined Liverpool from Southampton six years ago, is expected to leave the club without a transfer this week
And while Lallana has been available to play, the Anfield boss hinted it’s unlikely he’ll appear for the side again before his departure.
Klopp said: “It is clear Adam will leave the club in the summer.
“But now we have a difficult situation, but I will respect Adam a lot. And everything with Adam is sorted, let me say it like this.
“He is so fit, he is training, everything is fine. But yes, the future is his future, and if we need his help on the pitch we can get it. He is there.
“He trains 100 per cent but as long as we don’t need it, he will just train.
“For now, if you ask me about it, I miss already everything about him.
“He is one of the most influential players on the training quality I have ever had in my life. He is an incredible professional.”
