Luis Suarez becomes Barcelona’s third-highest scorer of all time with incredible finish after Messi brilliance

LUIS SUAREZ became Barcelona’s third-highest scorer of all-time in dramatic style after a sensational goal against Villarreal.

The Uruguayan will have close mate Lionel Messi to thank for the assist following another moment of individual brilliance.

Luis Suarez scored his 194th goal for Barcelona

Messi managed to wriggle away from two challenges before running towards the opposition defence at pace.

He played it into the path of Suarez who had peeled off to the left before curling it first time into the far corner and out of the reach of the keeper.

It was the 33-year-old’s 194th goal for Barcelona in 277 appearances – eclipsing László Kubala’s total he set in 1961.

He only sits behind César Rodríguez Álvarez (232) and Messi who has a staggering 630 goals to his name.

But this one could turn out to be one of his most important if it keeps Barcelona in the LaLiga title race.

A win over Villarreal will move them four points behind Real Madrid with just four games left to play.

Suarez found the top corner after a moment of Messi magic

They got off to the perfect start when Pau Francisco Torres scored an own goal after three minutes to put the visitors ahead.

Gerard Moreno then equalised for the hosts before Suarez produced his moment of class.

And Antoine Griezmann added a third with a sensational chip in the second half to put Barcelona in the driving seat.
