Luton Town finalise Osho signing after medical completed

Luton Town have agreed to sign former Reading defender Gabriel Osho on a free transfer, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The 22-year-old centre-back is set to move to Kenilworth Road before the domestic window shuts at 5pm on Friday.

A Luton source has told Football Insider that Osho has already completed a medical and agreed the terms of a two-year contract.

He is set to put pen to paper ahead of the deal being announced in the next 24 hours.

Osho is set to join fellow 22-year-old Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in completing an imminent transfer to Luton.

As revealed by Football Insider earlier today, an agreement has been reached for the midfielder to join on a season-long loan.

By contrast, Osho will sign permanently after being released by Reading when his contract expired in the summer.

He graduated from the Championship club’s youth ranks to make 10 first-team appearances, five of which came after football’s re-start in July.

Osho is a centre-back but can also slot in at right-back, as he did for Reading.

Dewsbury-Hall has two years remaining on his contract at Leicester, having put pen to paper on a new three-year deal in September of last year.

The midfielder and Osho are set to become Nathan Jones’ fifth and sixth signings of the summer.

This follows the arrivals of Jordan Clark and Tom Lockyer and the re-signings of James Bree and Rhys Norrington-Davies.

In other news, Luton Town are in talks to sign Leicester City senior star in blockbuster deal.
