Burnley and Fulham have set their sights on signing teenager Felix Goddard after his exit from Man City, Football Insider understands.
The Premier League duo are keen on the goalkeeper, 16, as they look to bolster their youth ranks with a top player who’s trained at one of the world’s biggest clubs.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Burnley and Fulham face competition for Goddard from Champions League semi-finalists Bayern.
A second German giant in Hamburg are also keen on the youngster, whose contract at City has just expired.
Goddard is open to offers and his free-agent status makes him an attractive option to his suitors.
Born in Germany to British parents, Goddard was raised in Singapore before joining the City academy at the age of 13.
