Fulham are understood to be close to a deal with Southampton for Salisu, who will cost in excess of £15million. And the London club are also in advanced talks over an £18m deal to sign Nigeria international Bassey from Ajax.
Asked about his own future, Silva confirmed he has an offer from elsewhere, but said: “I’m not going to talk about that situation here.”
He added: “About the interest of other clubs, about the rumors about me, it’s not the first time. The same thing happened last month, the official offers I received. During the last season also, two or three times.
“I didn’t talk about this situation. I have always shown commitment to this football club, every time. The commitment was clear and will remain so.”
There are also doubts over the future of midfielder Joao Palhinha, who is interested in West Ham United and Liverpool, and Silva said his squad is not big enough for the new season after seven players left this summer.
“It’s been an unusual two weeks for us,” Silva said. “I talk more about the preparation because it is clear that we are late.
“I have many more things on my mind than Mitro, believe me. The situation is more than a player. We’ve lost such a large number of players and we have to prepare for a Premier League season when you haven’t signed at least one, at least for the fans to be a little bit happier with the situation, that’s the biggest situation for me.”
