Raheem Sterling salary: How much does the Man Utd transfer target earn?

Raheem Sterling has been in fine form once again this season for Manchester City. The 25-year-old has scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in 39 games across all competitions.

Sterling, though, believes his goal tally should be much higher.

“I would say probably I’m about 15 goals off where I want to be,” he said last month.

“Those are the targets, to try and create good numbers but at the same time not just have numbers to have numbers.

“At the end of the day you want to have trophies to back up that season because 10 years from now you can score a lot of goals, but if I can’t look back on those goals as being important for my team and having a great value then those goals were pointless.

“It is one of those, to try and contribute as much as I can but at the end of the season have some medals to show for it.”

Sterling has now been linked with a sensational move to rivals Manchester United.

According to the Independent, the England international is one of the players that has been identified by United’s analytics department.

However, it’s claimed the Red Devils will only go for him if City’s Champions League ban is upheld and he becomes available.

Speaking at the time, the forward said: “I’m delighted to sign. My development here has been incredible.
