Reading 0-3 Manchester City: Two own goals and a Bunny Shaw header earn visitors win

Bunny Shaw is heading to Manchester City

Two own goals from Reading captain Emma Mukandi gave Manchester City victory in the Women’s Super League at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

City lacked a cutting edge in places, but constant pressure from Lauren Hemp led to Mukandi’s two second-half errors.

Bunny Shaw’s header from Mary Fowler’s cross, her seventh goal in six league games, wrapped up the points.

It’s City’s fourth straight win in La Liga.

Gareth Taylor’s team is fourth in the table with 12 points, heading into the international break.

Reading, meanwhile, are second from bottom with three points, having picked up their first points of the season last weekend with victory over Leicester, which ended a 14-match run of the WSL without a win.
