The Everton Stadium has been highlighted at an international sports summit held in Portugal.
Vicky Jaycock, the club’s senior manager of new stadium sales, was invited to take part in The Thinking Football Summit in Porto last weekend, alongside a group of football industry leaders.
During a panel discussion, Vicky was able to outline Everton’s future ambition to maximize revenue at Everton Stadium by making it a 365-day-a-year destination.
The summit also provided an opportunity for Vicky to address the audience on the inclusive and revolutionary ALL concept; a re-establishment of traditional football hospitality bringing together all the bars, restaurants and experiences available to all fans at Everton Stadium.
He said: “It was a real privilege to be asked to speak at The Thinking Football Summit and share an insight with other industry professionals on how stadiums can generate activity all year round.
“We believe our ambitious vision to create a stadium for ALL at Everton Stadium offers a varied offering to the city of Liverpool and I was able to discuss the research approach and consult with our fans and our community through of a one-of-a-kind. ‘people’s project'”.
The meeting discussed the professional football industry and promoted the corporate and business side of football in what is considered a unique opportunity to strengthen links with sponsors, partners, interest groups, international guests as well as sports societies and the main institutions of professional football.
Areas covered include fan engagement, technology, innovation, future challenges, sports management and marketing and sponsorship.
It also provides a forum for networking between some of the game’s elite professional clubs looking to share best practice.
