Sunderland have agreed a deal to re-sign striker Danny Graham, Football Insider can reveal.
Black Cats boss Parkinson confirmed earlier this week that the club were considering a move for the 35-year-old as they looked to bolster their attack ahead of the new campaign.
A Sunderland source has told Football Insider that the terms of a one-year deal have now been agreed with Graham and he is set to imminently put pen to paper.
Graham is a proven marksman in the lower leagues and was especially prolific at Blackburn Rovers, Carlisle United and Watford.
He scored four goals in 38 appearances last season in the Championship but he started only 14 matches for Rovers.
Graham certainly has something to prove at the Stadium of Light after failing to maintain his impressive career strike rate in his first spell.
