Liverpool sensation Rhian Brewster has been urged to reject a potential loan move to Tottenham by Darren Bent.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Spurs striker believes a move could mess with the youngster’s development.
Tottenham have joined a host of clubs who want to take the 20-year-old on loan as they look to secure a back up to Harry Kane, as revealed by Football Insider.
Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton, Fulham and Crystal Palace are all interested in a short-term move for Brewster, according to Goal.
Asked by Football Insider whether he thinks a move back to his old club would be good for Brewster, Bent said: “You’re messing around with Brewster’s development. He can’t be somebody who sits on the bench.
“I would wait and see what happens and go somewhere where he could progress and play.
