Alan Hutton claims that Harry Winks is under serious threat of losing his starting role at Tottenham after the arrival of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton.
The former Spurs and Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, insists the England midfielder divides opinion and that he could drop out the side following the new signing.
Tottenham confirmed the capture of Hojbjerg on Tuesday afternoon as the Denmark international put pen to paper on a five-year deal in north London.

Hutton believes that the new arrival does not bode well for Winks despite the English ace having started all but 10 Premier League games last season.
Asked if it would be harsh to drop Winks for Hojbjerg, Hutton told Football Insider: “I think so, but I think he divides opinion, just from what I hear, some people love him and some people aren’t so sure.
“Some people think he’s great at passing and going forward, some think he’s a little bit side to side. I like him, I think he keeps things ticking over but maybe just Mourinho feels he wants a little bit more.
