CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN’S ex-Tottenham pals shared a tender reunion with the comeback hero… before he dented their top four hopes.
Keeper Hugo Lloris and England skipper Harry Kane both gave the Brentford midfielder meaningful embraces in the tunnel as he continued his astonishing return from a cardiac arrest.

Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris greeted Christian Eriksen with a hug and warm smile before the midfielder’s Brentford side earned a 0-0 draw

Eriksen’s sensational set-pieces so nearly led to a Brentford winner, notably when Ivan Toney headed a free-kick against a post late on.
But despite his menace to his old team, he also received a huge round of applause from Spurs fans when he prepared to take a corner.
And maybe those same supporters will be cheering him again at the end of the season for purely football reasons – if Antonio Conte does resign him.
But United’s incoming ex-Ajax chief Erik ten Hag and newly-rich Newcastle are also in contention – while Brentford are keen to retain him.
