West Ham are close to getting another major earner off their wage bill by selling Jordan Hugill to Norwich City.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that the Championship club are in advanced talks to sign the 28-year-old in a deal worth around £5million.
Norwich are willing to offer Hugill close to his £40,000-a-week Hammer salary to seal a deal for him in the coming days.
David Moyes has given the go-ahead for the striker to leave after he returned from his loan spell at QPR.
There has also been interest from other Championship clubs but Norwich are in pole position to seal a deal.
West Ham are eager to cut costs before they embark on their own summer spending.
