Adama Traore has agreed in principle a new deal with Wolves worth £21million and an announcement is imminent.
The Premier League club have made it a priority to tie the super-quick attacker, 24, to an improved contract amid interest from the likes of Liverpool.
A Wolves source has told Football Insider that talks with Traore over a new four-year, £100,000-a-week agreement are at an advanced stage following talks in recent weeks.
Traore has three years remaining on the contract he signed when joining from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018 for a then club-record fee of £18million.
As revealed by Football Insider, Liverpool shortlisted Traore as a potential replacement for Salah or Mane after his astonishing development last season.
The attacker has added end product and greater potency to his explosive speed and remarkable power to provide Wolves with a real cutting edge on the right flank.
